On December 5, 2006, approximately 175,000 renewal notices were mailed to customers with boat registrations that expire on March 31, 2007. The current registration expiration date of March 31, 2007 was printed on the renewal notices; in past years, the post-renewal expiration date, in this case March 31, 2009, would have been printed on the renewal notices. A sample of the registration renewal cards that were mailed is shown below.
If you received one of these cards, please proceed with renewing as you always did -- no other card will be mailed to you. Once the Commission receives and processes your renewal notice, the date of expiration will change to March 31, 2009, and this date reflected on your new registration card.
