| Eighteen additional
adult trout stockings have been announced by the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, the result of additional
trout being made available to the agency.
The Commission announced June 14 that it was receiving 21,000 “bonus” trout
from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service’s Lamar National Fish Hatchery and Northeast Fishery Center. The center
is under contract to provide the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) with 100,000 adult trout
annually. The additional fish represent a surplus – and extra opportunities. The Commission initially announced
six stockings and promised details of more.
