Harrisburg, PA – The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PFBC) is alerting boaters that paving at the Harvey’s Lake access area in Luzerne County has been extended by one day. As a result, the access area will reopen on Friday, July 11.

This is the final step of improving the access area. Last month, PFBC employees removed the existing deteriorated concrete launch ramps and replaced them with new ones.

Harvey’s Lake is located northwest of Wilkes-Barre off PA Route 415.

The mission of the Fish and Boat Commission is to protect, conserve, and enhance the Commonwealth’s aquatic resources and provide fishing and boating opportunities. For more information about fishing and boating in Pennsylvania, please visit our website at www.fishandboat.com.
