The Susquehanna River is widely considered one of the premier fisheries on the
east coast. However, Fish & Boat Commission biologists and anglers have expressed concern in recent
years over declines in fish populations in some areas, especially for young smallmouth bass. The future
of the fishery has been the subject of several public meeting hosted by the Commission.
