 |
| Trout stockings occur year-round. Anglers commonly view the beginning of stocking
season as March 1, when adult trout stockings begin
for Approved Trout Waters in preparation of the opening day of trout
season. After opening day, in-season stockings continue for these waters. In addition to adults, fingerling
trout are also stocked throughout the year. |

 |
| WW/CW species of fish such as walleye, muskellunge, catfish and panfish (view
more species) are stocked by the Commission generally as juveniles. Current
year stockings are planned throughout the year, actual dates are not provided. The best way to use our
ww/cw stocking information is to look at prior
years as it takes time (3 to 4 years depending upon the species) for juveniles to reach desirable or legal size
(regulations allow anglers to keep)....more. |
