Pennsylvania Lakes - click for indexLocated in Butler County, Glade Run Lake is a 52-acre impoundment owned by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and managed by the Fish and Boat Commission for public fishing and boating.

FISHING

Glade Run is managed under the Commission's Big Bass program. Channel catfish fingerling are stocked to supplement the warmwater species found in the lake.

The Commission stocks Glade Run with trout a number of times throughout the year, it is also part of the Early Season Trout-Stocked Waters program. Statewide regulations for Commonwealth Inland Waters apply for all other species of fish.

A fishing pier is available for persons with disabilities.

BOATING

Boating is limited to boats powered by electric motors and un-powered boats. There is a surfaced launch ramp and associated parking facilities.

Un-powered boats may be moored at the lake in accordance with Commission property regulations. To be used at the lake, boats must be registered or have a valid launch permit (permits are issued by the Commission or PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources).
