FISHING

Virgin Run Lake is stocked with trout a number of times throughout the year. It is designated as an Approved Trout Waters Open to Year-Round Fishing. All other species of fish are managed under Commonwealth Inland Waters regulations.

The Commission also stocks the lake with channel catfish fingerling to supplement the warmwater species found in the lake.

BOATING

Boating is limited to boats powered by electric motors and un-powered boats. There is a surfaced launch ramp and associated parking facilities.

To be used at the lake, boats must be registered or have a valid launch permit (permits are issued by the Commission or PA Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources).
