PENNSYLVANIA'S BIGGEST FISH

Congratulations to the winners of the 2022 Biggest Fish Awards (posted 5/15/23). In an effort to highlight more of your big catches, the PFBC is moving away from Biggest Fish Awards beginning in 2023. Anglers may still apply to the PA State Record Fish program. Share your big catches with us through:

  • Cast & Caught:  Submit photos to be featured in Pennsylvania Angler & Boater magazine's "Cast & Caught" column.  Send only prints (no larger than 8"x10") and a completed Model Release Form found at fishandboat.com.  Provide angler's name, age (optional), date of catch, name of waterway where you were fishing, fish species, and length and weight of the fish (if known).  Include a self-addressed, stamped envelope to have your photograph returned.   Mail to: Editor, Pennsylvania Angler & Boater, P.O. Box 67000, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7000.
  • Web and Social Media:  Email your picture and story, along with contact information, angler's name, age (optional), date of catch, name of waterway where you were fishing, fish species, and length and weight of the fish (if known) to: ra-fbsocial1@pa.gov.  Please limit stories to experiences on Pennsylvania waterways.

Photos must comply with our Guidelines for Contributors for fish handling. People aboard boats must be wearing properly fitted and buckled life jackets.

Share the thrill of the First Fish with a downloadable First Fish Certificate.
