LAKE ERIE
Lake Erie is Pennsylvania's most unique waterway, not only because of its size, but because of the abundance of gamefish. An average of 1.5 million fish are caught by anglers each year in the lake, Presque Isle Bay, and tributaries.
To many anglers Erie fishing means
Steelhead, and for good reason, as the lake and its tributaries provide a world-class steelhead fishery (see listing of tributaries below). But, great fishing doesn't stop there; popular game fish species to target include
Bass,
Walleye,
Yellow Perch,
Crappie and
Bluegill. And let's not forgot that a lake this size allows for a myriad of boating opportunities as well. So what are you waiting for? Start exploring this GREAT lake with the links on this page.
